SIMECON thanks to its many years of experience of the implementation of industrial automation plants, supports the client in all the main stages of start-up of a munitions factory, offering the following services:

• Develops and/or supports the client in the preparation, at the initial stage of the project, of the layout of the production plant and in the identification of the processes, machinery and equipment best suited to the production market and to the optimization of plant space and costs, providing conceptual technical guidelines for the creation of the plant.

• Prepares and provides the client with the complete table of loads and connections required for the operation of the machinery and accessories.

• Studies and supports the client in defining the internal layout, logistics, and material flows, as well as defining the manpower required for each activity.

• Supports the client and prepares all engineering and engineering management on the main 3 macro business areas:

1. Logistics and business procedures,
2. Supply chain and management,
3. Engineering and quality

• Provides and/or supports clients in the preparation of all documents necessary for the logistical management of the entire production process, from the coding of each component included in the MRP, to the BoM and technical purchase specifications.

• Produces and provides drawings for each stage of production and for the final product, including construction tolerances and technological characteristics, and prepares technical specifications for raw materials.

• Provides customers with the main and most important standard operating procedures (Sop) that must be followed from receipt of order to release of the batch of cartridges for testing with the customer and the main instructions and safety directions to be followed in the production processes.

• Provides training for managers, engineers, and technicians to customers. Training includes training in management skills and in the operation of machines and the entire plant, including metallurgy and ballistics laboratories (firing range). SIMECON, through its staff with decades of experience, also provides its customers with training on live production and head set-up.

• Through its technical staff, it designs and implements all gauges for production control and ways to intercept any nonconforming parts.

• It makes available to customers all the laboratories required by military standards (metallographic, metrological, chemical and ballistic) necessary to carry out process/quality controls, supports the customer in the start-up of the same and in the training of control personnel.
